Mt Hood Riders

The client had a wordpress site that they had created. They came to me because it doesn't look very good on mobile devices. This project required a very specialized plugin for Custom Post Types and other custom functionality.

Responsive Design

In an effort to save time, I found an free open-source theme to heavily modify. I also ended up having to slap some responsive CSS on top of the weather widget currently in-use.

CSS-only Mobile Menu

In another project, I used Javascript to accomplish the menu. It worked but it felt dirty. For this project I used the "hidden checkbox" technique. I toyed around with a method using ":active" but didn't get optimal results.

Custom Post Types

The client and his guest editors are not especially savvy when it comes to code. So, to save them headaches, I created several Custom Post Types with custom meta fields. The client is ecstatic.
